Last weeks visit to Paris has had quite the impact on my color scheming as well as on my mood. When I first arrived I immediately felt like living la vie parisienne for the rest of my life, which includes 3 am cheese and wine dates on a Thursday. Recently, red has been playing a larger role in my wardrobe. It all started with this red flower wrap dress that has been my travel buddy for the last half a year and probably been the dress I have gotten most complimented on. Then I added a body here and a blouse there and in Paris I even tried on red trousers, which I didn’t dare to actually purchase.
The MANGO blouse works so well with white denim but basically I have been wearing it with any sort of denim for the past week and I can’t wait to wear it with my leather jacket. The Amour Moderne logo tee is so cute and I nearly got it for myself in Paris but since I had been spending money like a crazy person that day I left it in the store – regrets right there, girls. Currently, I am a little crazy over lace up anything. At the start I felt like it was just not one of those things I can pull off but recently there have been a lot of minimal lace up styles like the black TOPSHOP denim skirt that I can really see in my own wardrobe.
Accessory wise Paris screams for vintage inspired shoes like the & OTHER STORIES slippers (the ones we are all crushing over on Instagram). I also wouldn’t mind welcoming the 4734720 pair of sunnies to the family because really I don’t have a vintage inspired round metal pair just yet.
