Forest green, a color I have always liked but never really known how to pull off. I remember years ago my first purchase at COS was a forest green blouse. I believe I resold the piece a year ago because after several winter in my wardrobe I still had no clue how to pull it off. Ironic that just this fall I have started wearing forest green again – in all it’s different shades. It all started with a pine tree coloured merino knit from ARKET that I purchased around a month ago and been wearing on repeat ever since.
The mohair mix from &OTHERSTORIES obviously drew my attention, too. But two knits in the same colour, purchased in the same month, is a clear no (even for me). Which doesn’t count for a pine tree coloured blazer, does it? The MANGO blazer looks great and I love the statement taille. I would love to style it with the black pair of carrot trousers but yet need to find the perfect fitting pair for my body shape. Elisa drew my attention to some new pieces at TOPSHOP with this recent post of hers, in which she features a white blouse similar to the black dress. I love the highlighted stitching and the different silhouette of the TOPSHOP dress, even though we all agree that it wouldn’t be your typical grocery shopping dress.
What’s your favourite colour for fall? Are you into pieces with a statement taille or do you prefer to keep it simple?
P.S.: I have added a lot of fall pieces to my personal wishlist in the my style section.
