This is a little shopping inspiration for you and also for me since most of the items I listed are high fashion items and as you know I am only a University student and not blessed with a huge amount of money I can spend on clothing every month (I still think I spend more on it than the average woman though). So I am really in love with all the items above but for some I might be able to find a fast fashion alternative – if I do I will make sure to update this blog post!
I want to start with the white blouse and the mini skirt. I am really into mini skirts at the moment and I have been looking for a black suede skirt in this specific cut everywhere but since the button up ones are really popular these days it’s hard to find a different style. I think the Acne skirt has the perfect cut and I love that the details are silver since I am more of a silver kinda girl than a gold accessorize kinda girl. To make the look complete I would match it with this super cute blouse from Steffen Schraut.
You probably know by now that I absolutely love the boyfriend jeans but I only own a really light denim one and I always feel like that is not suitable with the Dutch Autumn & Winter since it’s raining a lot and they would just always get dirty so quickly. So I have been on the hunt for a black washed out denim one and I found a really nice pair from J Brand on sale! I would pair these with either a plain V-neck or with this super cute black & white shirt from Edited the Label and this super cool dark grey coat from Sandwich. I am really getting addicted to all shades of grey (yes you are reading correctly).
Now talking about Autumn shoes is always a little difficult for me since I literally never by Booties. It just seems like I can never find the right pair so thats why I am investigating on the topic really early every year – so that maybe this year the styles I like won’t be sold out when I start searching for them. I have been in love with the idea of Overknees for a while now but it seems like the only pair I could really imagine wearing would be these Stuart Weitzmann boots and guess what? They have a very high price tag. Now leaving the high street market and returning to the fast fashion world and to these absolute stunning boots from Topshop. How good is the heel detail? These are definitely high on my wish list.
Besides all the clothes the Maison Margiela fragrances have been in my head for a while. With names such as beach walk, lazy sunday morning and promenade in the gardens they definitely attracted my interest. I just got this Byredo perfume for my birthday and I am already craving the next one…
Oh and I am happy to announce on a little side note that I was invited to do a little guest blog post at the Demeler, a minimal and monochrome addict just like me! Make sure to stop by and maybe also read my little guest blog post.
I love this selection. Monocrome is great because it allows me to go to work looking stylish without breaking the dress code. I read your guest post and I’m liking your style a lot. Also, your post about how to go on vacation when you have a blog is very useful!
