I have always loved the interplay of wood and concrete floors, the cool floors with heavy warm wooden tables. Some would argue that concrete floors make the living space cold and not lively enough. I have been browsing my favorite interior websites and have been pinning like a maniac to teach those in doubt better! As much as I love all concrete everything I will give those people a point even for a minimalist at heart like me a space fully concrete would end up a little to cold for me. But if you add wooden elements to your home and perhaps lots of big windows as well as rugs & plants your home will be everything but cold!
