Tone in tone dressing continues to be one of my favorite ways to dress. Just this morning I had a conversation via text with a girlfriend saying how I NEEDED grey suit (preferable vintage) trousers to match my grey vintage blazer. She 100% understood my struggle and strongly agreed to my need. But we don’t wanna talk about grey today – not yet. It’s still time for beige because we are still dreaming and hoping for that golden October while in fact it’s pouring down in Berlin nearly every single day for the past week. Which is why October cravings are soft hues of beige and off white. Give me all the light colors, thin soft knits and the occasional leather pants.
Since the first time I lay my eyes on this beige overshirt I am dying to add it to my wardrobe but I have accumulated a fair number of overshirts in the past 12 months and once you are committing yourself to a more capsule-like wardrobe you can’t always say yes. The thick COS woolen skirt made it’s way into my wardrobe though since a piece like that has been on my list for ages. I am excited to have finally found a good fit for myself. It is selling out really fast so make sure to get it while you can! Recently, I have bought a pair of chunky chelsea boots similar to the ARKET pair and couldn’t be happier with it. One thing I am still trying to decide is weather I need a pair of knee-high wide boots or rather a pair of good old cowboy boots?
