Maybe it’s because it’s officially the last couple of months in my small room in a shared apartment here in Maastricht or maybe it’s just the interior geek in me that’s constantly dreaming of an apartment of my own. I don’t really know and honestly I don’t really mind too much. I have always been loving vintage interior pieces combined with clean and modern elements. Since I am little I have been saying to my parents can I have this or that sideboard one day (hi mum & dad please can I?!). One piece that I have been dreaming of for years is a typical mid century wooden sideboard. It’s the perfect interplay of minimal design and warmth – there are endless ways to make it stand out in your apartment! You can also buy vintage sideboards easily on Ebay & Etsy and as nearly all of mid century iconics you can also get replicas at a lot of modern interior online shops. I have linked you some of my favorite vintage finds above!

Die Sideboards sind wirklich wunderschön, aber dafür auch nicht gerade die preiswertesten. Was wirklich schade ist.

Jaa das stimmt schon. Ich bin aber glaube ich eher der Typ Frau der 1000€ Für ein Sideboard ausgeben würde bevor ich 1000€ für die neuste Trendtasche ausgebe. Ich finde die Sideboards so toll & zeitlos. Aber du hast schon recht, es ist viel Geld für ein Vintage Möbelstück!

Yess I think they are really subtle but can make such a statement depending how you decide to style them! Love those little decoration corners with lots of paintings & plants! xx

Jaa ich habe auch bei Westwing welche entdeckt, aber irgendwie fehlt mir da der Vintage Vibe. Es geht einfach nix über die Originale. Ich glaube ich werde einfach nach einer kleineren Variante Ausschau halten, die ist dann vielleicht auch nicht ganz so teuer!

Ich hab auch voll Lust auf ein Sideboard, aber mein Zimmer ist schon so voll – das stellt mich vor ein Problem. 😀 Wahrscheinlich muss ich bald was anderes dafür rauswerfen, haha.
