I have been wanting to wear this exact look for ages now but there was always a key piece missing in my wardrobe. First, it was the belt, which I luckily found in my local vintage store a couple months ago. You might remember it from this post. Buying statement pieces vintage instead of at the high street has become some sort of ritual to me. I love having pieces in my wardrobe that nobody else has and that just stand out a little. I also try and buy designer bags via second-hand websites such as Vestiaire Collective or the Real Real. Why don’t give pre-loved pieces a new home? All the bags I have purchased were in perfect condition and you will be able to save a good amount of money on them. I try and be a smart shopper like that.

  Next, I was missing a thick black blazer to wear the belt with. After searching what felt like an eternity I found the perfect black blazer in Seoul, it’s from a brand called MOHAN, it has an asymmetrical fit, which makes it stand out from all the other black blazers out there. To make the look day-appropriate I opted for my favorite pair of dark TOTEME denim. What I like most about this whole look is the fact that I can wear it in the daytime, especially for meetings at work when I want to look extra smart, but also for after work drinks with my girls – only thing that will be added is a good red lipstick. For me, there has always been an interest to style looks that will work both during the day and in the evening because really I want my outfit to work for anything that my day might throw at me.
