I go through phases in which my color pattern will let’s call it evolve. When I first started BASIC APPAREL it was a platform to share all my all-black-everythang outfits and eventually some white basics were added to the pot. Much has changed, believe it or not, my wardrobe has featured light blue denim, all sorts of beiges, greens, checked patterns and more patterns in 2018. I am still wearing all black lots of times – I really do – but I am also feeling fairly comfortable in outfits that feature some color. You are still to await the day that I will go full patterned and bright colors but never say never, right?

Let’s move from memory lane to the actual outfit, shall we? I have NO idea how and when it got this cold in Berlin but lemme tell you it’s freezing! Thus, I believe I will finally have to start transitioning into winter wear. What happened to autumn and spring? It feels like transitional seasons have died out. Hello, climate change! At least I can finally wear out my light brown &OTHERSTORIES coat that screamed my name in capital letters. It has a strong TOTEME vibe, which is why I opted for my TOTEME denim straight away. This is a combo I have been wearing plenty of times since I added the coat to my collection. It’s so easy and you know me I love easy. The act of dressing shouldn’t be another hassle one has to deal with, it should come natural – just like this outfit.
