Our week in Tokyo was the most hectic time of our Asia trip. For starters, we had a couple of Tokyo Fashion Week appointments during the week and there was quite a bit of content creation work on our plates. Don’t get me wrong – it was all positive stress but nonetheless in a city like Tokyo being already under a lot of stress can make you feel so unsettled. Tokyo is made of big streets with high buildings and people, there are so many people it’s unbelievable. So when we ran into this little alley behind the Ginza metro station we were for ourselves for the first time in days. Imagine that…
Of course, our self-chosen solitude didn’t last long because really there is no such place in which you are all by yourself in the middle of Tokyo. Nevertheless, we took our chance and shot my explorer outfit: a black hoodie from ALAND in Seoul (honestly, yours truly just bought it for the Chinese signs on its back, which of course I cannot read whatsoever), my MANGO skirt, my ADIDAS YUNG sneakers and of course my new PROENZA SCHOULER bag. Both the sneakers and the bag were on high rotation ever since I purchased them. My go-to tip for designer bags (especially PROENZA SCHOULER) is THE OUTNET. They often have really cool pieces for very affordable prices. On the other hand, the ADIDAS YUNG sneakers were playing hard to get in Germany whereas in Seoul and Taipei I saw them in every ADIDAS store. I am tempted to also buy the black pair because I love the look of them and they are the most comfortable sneakers I own.
