Casa Encallada

I love browsing through Pinterest to find far away places (or not so far away places) of extraordinary design. This minimalist’s dream of a home is located in Algarrobo, Chile and was designed by Whale!. Their idea was to create a simple beach house with two terraces – one indoor and one outdoor at the rocky beachside of La Boca Beach. The floor design perfectly harmonizes with the to the surrounding landscape and it feels like the house has always been there. Just like the last weekend home I showed you the Casa Encallada has something so calming about it. Maybe it is because of the use of pine wood And timber for both of the homes or maybe it is their location out in the nature. Either way I wouldn’t mind a weekend stay in one of the homes.
