Dress – c/o Motel | Tee – Gina Tricot | Sandals – Birkenstock
Some might already know why I have been to Berlin by now. Much to the disappointment of my parents I love tattoos and also already have some, which the attentive reader of this blog might has seen already. Now I wanted to add some dots & lines work to my arm and found the most amazing and talented tattoo artist in Berlin. Hint hint the reason for my short trip! Everyone might have a different opinion on tattooing but for me it has always been a way to express myself. I was very nervous before the appointment as I hadn’t seen the design before and I usually either love a tattoo or hate it – there is really no in between for me. So when Rachael finally showed me what she had drawn for me I was incredibly excited as it was so much better than I had imagined it myself! I will make sure to upload some close-up photos once the tattoo is heeled (while writing this I am pretty annoyed by the tattoos as they are being very itchy).
So what to you wear for a tattoo appointment? I have had a bit of a tradition – I always wore my old guns’n’roses band shirt however it was actually in the dirty laundry pile and I realized it too late (my life story). So I opted for something completely different but one of my current favorite things to wear, a basic tee with a black cami dress. Obviously, I was also wearing my beloved Birkenstocks.
P.S.: I might never learn to not wear my hair tie while taking outfit photos. #struggles
