I have always preferred to tell my own stories in form of photographs because words, spoken even more so than written, feel so limiting to me. It’s hard to put into words how a city can make you feel in so many different ways. Paris, for me is a city like no other. Not because of the romantic image of the Eiffel Tower, or the balconies with blonde girls that look into the distance. No for me the unglamorous smell of the METRO is as much part of the beautiful experience of Paris as the croissant for breakfast and the cheese & wine for dinner (or if you ask me at 3am in the morning). It’s late night strolls and a monday morning spend in bed. From now on it will also always mean seeing people that are very close to my heart and talking about old stories and sharing new ones.
My LOAVIES tee with the print amuse is only appropriate for a trip to Paris as the French like to say “amuse-toi bien” to their dear ones. The direct translation would mean something like “have fun” but really if we can say “amuse-toi bien” who would stick to the english way? Styling it with an asymmetrical midi skirt and a mini straw basket from a little Parisienne corner shop makes the outfit perfect for a stroll through the city.
Paris ist wirklich eine so unglaublich tolle Stadt – ich muss unbedingt mal wieder hinfahren! Deine Aufnahmen sind übrigens sehr schön!
