I am feeling very transitional these past days – we had a temperature drop of nearly 10 degrees in Germany and it was a very welcome cool off. I am currently visiting my parents in my hometown in the West of Germany. It’s so long ago that I had properly been home. Shooting at this spot, where at least half a dozen outfits have been shot in the past, did make me think about where BASIC APPAREL had once started. Much has changed and much has stayed the same. I am still doing what I am doing because it is my passion and I enjoy every minute of it every single day. The freedom to work for myself and the self-development that comes with every single project I am part of is my constant drive. If any of this does run a bell in your head – let me know as I would love to talk about this in more detail but only if it’s interesting to at least some of you!

Let’s get back to what I am wearing: While being in Copenhagen for Fashion Week we obviously had to stop at the ACNE ARCHIVE. Your girl definitely scored while being there. The above-pictured blazer had been on my wishlist ever since it hit the runway. It’s also saved in multiple collections on Instagram. I had given up all hope to find it and guess what? I did and it was half priced. Call me a winner. I styled the blazer with cycling shorts, which are probably the biggest trend of the season. Shoutout to all my Berlin girls for totally ‘influencing’ me on the cycling shorts. I am obsessed and super late to the game – I know. They are comfortable, make you feel very cool, can be styled in 3750325032 ways, which I am going to try out in the next week because I will be living in cycling shorts for what’s left of the summer.
