Upcoming fall season I might start a little liaison with the past century’s style iconics. While deep down I know my heart is a modern minimalist sometimes even I need to try out and play around with other styles.
And how could I possibly resist those velvet pieces arriving in all our favorite high street shops such as this rusty colored Mango velvet blazer? Although, the rest of the outfit would have to be the usual all black drill to make it work for me. Rounded up by another favorite by A.P.C (the french label just always hits my weak spot with their timeless bag designs) and a pair of beautiful black loafers, these are the perfect low budget alternative to the Gucci loafers we all secretly desire (if you are me it’s less of a sceret)!
Another new arrival that instantly made my heart skip is the polka dot dress by Banana Republic. Since the dress has a more feminine maybe even girly cut I would always pair it with a minimalistic bag such as the one from Mango.
Last piece that definitely got me cheating on minimalism is this gorgeous multi denim skirt from Topshop. By now most of you probably realized that I am obsessed with denim skirts – my vintage Levis Mini has been on high rotation and I have even been debating whether to buy another one in a lighter denim. I would wear it with the black Mango blouse, which is a great bargain and I will definitely keep my eyes open for it next time I am at Mango!
