When in Sydney you gotta tick the most touristic sight off your list. That would have to be the Sydney Opera house. While I usually keep away from too busy places like that the opera house never fails to amaze me. You all know I am a great fan of architecture and the 1973 opened building is one of the most prestigous building in all of Australia not only because of the extremely high costs that more than tripled in the process of finishing the masterpiece (people from Hamburg know what I am talking about just think of the Elbphilharmonie). But also because of the unique design by Danish designer Utzon. He was largely inspired by nature and while for most people the opera house looks like a sea shell I have always thought it looks more like a palm tree.
While being there I had to take the chance of taking some photos of the outfit I was wearing. We hadn’t planned on taking any photos that day otherwise I might have chosen a more appropriate look than just denim shorts and a black cami. Then again it’s my favorite look for exploring a city because its both easy and light so why blind you with a unrealistic outfit?
