Our Home away from Home

The one thing that will lift your spirits after any long haul flight is the home you are arriving to in a completely new city. For us it was the loveliest curated Airbnb we have ever stayed in. It turned out to be raining most of our stay in Manila so instead of getting drenched all over again we decided to just stay in bed a little longer on the first morning. Julia being jetlagged and be plain exhausted after 1 month on the road the bed was just too comfortable to make us go out and explore.
Our favorite spot would have to be the window corner with an incredible view over the city, while the sunset was usually cloudy because of all the rain the sunrise was a spectacle you had to witness. Manila is a gloomy city with way too much traffic but every morning the sun calmly fights its way through the smog to fill the city with that early golden sunlight which is somewhat magical really.
Wow was für ein hübsches Appartement! Ganz toll!
