Week 9 & 10
8. March 2017
My second week in Taipei has been overwhelming. I managed to hand in my Bachelor Thesis in time (just in time if I may say so) and after a very stressful week I also managed to enroll in enough courses as well as courses that interest me. So everything concerning administrative activities for University is luckily done now. My apartment is in the middle of the city with the most incredible food places just a minute away and after two weeks in my new neighborhood it feels a lot more like a new home.
All I have been telling people that have been asking me how I like it in Taipei is “It’s so freaking cold.”. While that is the truth it’s also true that I fell head over heels in love with the city. Every single time I am walking home or taking the MRT I fall in love with Taipei all over again. Nevertheless, I had to add some pieces to my travel wardrobe since I am here because I was not prepared for the cold nor the rain. A pair of jeans as well as this lovely grey coat (the perfect grey coat if you ask me) had to come home with me. I have been wearing both nonstop the last couple of days so I would say they were both worth the investment!
There is a new little helper in my beauty regime, too. It’s the Kiehl’s Midnight Recovery Oil. I have been using it for 2 weeks now and it has worked so so well. It highly reduced my redness and also kept my skin hydrated.
New on the blog are SYDNEY CALLING and EXPLORING TAIPEI WITH MY LOU BAG.
I love how you take the idea of life in a new city and turned it into a beautiful journey on your blog.

Vielen vielen Dank Ricarda!
