The Grey Jumper

As some of you might already seen on Instagram or Snapchat (sophievedaniels) I came home to a broken in apartment on Monday. Everything that could be made to money quickly was stolen as well as personal things. Besides the shock of coming home to a broken door and my room being a total mess I am still trying to deal with the fact that someone was in my private rooms looking through my private things. It just doesn’t feel right.
Some things of personal value were stolen for example an old hard drive with all my travel photos from Australia (first trip and the second trip) which I didn’t have saved somewhere else for a backup. So these memories might not be gone forever but I will never be able to show my kids these photos in the future and that indeed is a quite painful experience.
I am currently dealing with police, insurance and the landlord and therefore I didn’t have the time to be really active on my social media channels. This whole thing will hopefully be over soon and everything will get back to normal.
Despite of my horror story I want to tell you all about my new basicapparel.dk jumper because it is definitely one of the best additions to my wardrobe in the past months! It is the most comfortable thing and I love the pattern – it’s just not your normal basic grey jumper! This outfit was shot last week on a sunny day and just made me so so excited for spring! Unfortunately, it was snowing on the weekend again! Spring better hurry up!!
Oh nein, was für ein Albtraum! Du Arme! Das ist wirklich eine komplette Horrorvorstellung und ich fühle da echt mit dir. Hoffentlich ordnen sich die Dinge bald und du kannst den Verlust deiner persönlichen Sachen und das merkwürdige Gefühl, dass sich jemand Zugriff zu deinem Reich verschafft hat, verschmerzen.
Dass dein Outfit toll ist, muss ich dir gar nicht mehr sagen und ist anlässlich solcher schlimmen Sachen fast eine nebensächliche Erwähnung.

Oh Gott, das ist ja die absolute Horrorvorstellung. Ich kann mir gar nicht ausmalen wie schlimm sowas sein muss. Ich hoffe, dass das alles bald geklärt wird 🙁 Dein Outfit ist aber mal wieder große Klasse 🙂

Vielen Dank Katrin. Ja in dem Sinne wird es sich wohl nie richtig regeln, die Polizei meinte schon die Wahrscheinlichkeit, dass da jemand geschnappt wird ist super gering. Also mache ich mir da nicht allzu viel Hoffnung. Ich hoffe einfach bald kehrt wieder der normale Alltag bei mir ein! <3
Das hört sich ja schrecklich an und ich kann mir vorstellen, dass es einfach besonders schlimm ist wenn persönliche Dinge gestohlen werden… Unglaublich!

Oh mein Gott, was für eine beschissene Erfahrung! Der Verlust von Photos ist ja schon furchtbar und oft schlimmer als andere materielle Verluste, aber ich hoffe vor allem, dass du dich in deiner Wohnung wieder sicher und wohl fühlen kannst. Ich drücke auch die Daumen für die Versicherung, dass die Werte schnell ersetzt werden.
Deine outfits sind immer toll und ich finde es bewundernswert, dass du trotz allem für uns weiter Posts über Klamotten gemacht hast!

Ohh vielen Dank für die Nachfrage, Diana! Mir geht es schon wieder ganz gut – irgendwie muss man ja weitermachen. Die Polizei hat da jetzt nicht großartig ermittelt, aber meine Versicherung ist nach langem hin und her dann doch für den größten materiellen Schaden aufgekommen. Jetzt mag ich mir aber die gestohlenen Sachen gar nicht so gerne wieder kaufen, solange ich noch in der selben Wohnung lebe. Klingt vielleicht komisch, aber da bleibt jetzt immer dieses blöde Gefühl, wenn ich mal ein Wochenende verreise 🙁
