The Vintage Leather Trench

I have started to source some of my wardrobe vintage only. Trenchcoats for example I do not search on the high street for anymore since I have found two of the most perfect vintage BURBERRY coats out there during one crazy day of vintage shopping in Berlin. When I found this gorgeous burgundy beauty when strolling around at a fleamarket in my neighborhood I knew it was meant to be. Since then I have already given it to numerous people – it seems to be a piece everyone wants but nobody can find. It has the perfect oversized fit and you can easily make it feel more tailored with the belt, too. The leather is soft but still structured. That’s the magic of shopping vintage you will find something nobody else has, you are shopping conscious and giving a preloved item a new home.
Today I styled the leather trench very simple with a black pair of wide pants, black cowboy boots and my SIMON MILLER bag. Of course, I had to add my current favorite accessory the bucket hat. I am already dreaming of wearing the coat with white denim and a white tshirt – the weather in Berlin would actually allow it right now. But first my friend needs to return the leather trench coat to me.
