Welcoming back one of my favorite buys from last year: the ACNE STUDIOS blazer that I finally got my hands on at the ACNE ARCHIVE in CPH in August 2018. I have worn it multiple times last year, like that time with bicycle shorts or at the Dongdaemun Design Plaza in Seoul. It has become one of those staples in my wardrobe and yet it always is the highlight of the look. You know I am a sucker for pieces that will last ages and stay in my wardrobe for years to come. Indeed, the blazer is a light blue-greyish color, which definitely makes it more sensitive to wear but I am only now about to get it washed properly after more than 8 months of owning it – plus I really don’t look out for it as much as I should. Yours truly has always been quite bad with stains.
I wanted to create a new look that differs from the previous ways I styled the blazer which is why I opted for ACNE STUDIOS suit pants in a dark grey, which I bought in November during their ACNE ARCHIVE 48-hour website. While it looks warm and sunny on the photos it was still cold in Berlin so I added some more layers with my COS turtleneck and my new ALL SAINTS biker leather jacket, which I bought during their last sale week with an additional 20% off. Yep, I know how to shop sale season and get the pieces that have been on my to-buy-list for ages. For a little color break I went for my caramel colored CELINE sunglasses – I liked how the color is somewhat coming back in that big button of the blazer. Such details are what I love about dressing myself.
