Jacket – Zara | Knit – Zara | Skirt – Nicholas the Label (via BYOND)
Sunglasses – Ray Ban | Watch – Smukkett
This is my last look I styled for the online shop Byond – you might remember my new years look with their Silk Dress. I decided to style the Nicholas the Label Silk Skirt with my chunky leather jacket to create a bit of a rock’n’roll chic. I don’t usually wear tight fitted pencil skirts because I don’t feel overly confident in them but this one fitted perfectly and made me feel sexy yet well dressed. Honestly, I feel cold just looking at these photos right now. Winter did arrive in the end (even though it could have stayed away if you ask me) but when we took these photos it was 14 degrees outside so I wasn’t all to cold. I don’t ever wear pencil skirts with tights because for me it ruins the look besides I don’t like skin colored tights.
I might also need to change my opinion regarding pencil skirts. For women with a more feminine body it can actually bring out those curves very nicely and for women that aren’t that curvy it can create a very nice body shape with curves. Besides everyone who has seen me in this skirt complimented me and you loved my summer look with the wraparound as well. So maybe I should add a pencil skirt to my wardrobe samples in 2016!
In friendly cooperation with BYOND xx
