The last 2 weeks were an emotional roller coaster – something that feels oddly normal in my life lately. The last couple of months have been full of changes for me and it’s gonna continue to be an interesting but emotionally demanding year for me. On Friday I arrived back in Germany and while I had been avoiding the fact that I am going home for good while in Asia it hit me when I arrived at the airport in Germany. While still having difficulties getting used to all the small houses and not being able to get dumplings within a 3 min walk from my apartment at any time of the day or night I am excited to see my friends and family. Also cheese. Just putting that out there but it was the one thing I missed most in Taipei. So I have been eating as much cheese as one could possibly eat.

Before coming home I went to Hong Kong as some of you might already know from my social media channels. The city is an insane place, making me feel speechless more than once and constantly making me feel like I have to keep moving – keep exploring. We only had a very short stay there but I still managed to take a billion photos and I have looked through approximately half of them already, which means I am hoping to upload the first food related post upcoming week!

I have also decided to skip Berlin Fashion Week this season since I need some time to organize my things, try and work out a plan for the next couple of months and just arrive back home. It wasn’t an easy call as I was really looking forward to see some of my girls in Berlin but in the end I believe it’s the right choice for me (it’s “only” FW after all).
